All things must come to an end and frankly, it had to be my favorite show of all-time, Breaking Bad. This show has everything from drama to comedy and everything in between. The hidden messages, meanings and symbolism used throught the series are beyond many's imagination and finding when I noticed something for the first time after a couple of watches, I fall deeper in love with the show. Vince Gillian, creator of Breaking Bad, is a remarkable writer and what makes him different from other writers/creators is that he'll always make you think you know what's going to happen next and for the most part, you're most likely to end up being wrong. Haha.
Yesterday, I got to celebrate the final episode of Breaking Bad with some friends where we had various foods that were based from the show. We had our very own Crystal Blue Meth (rock candy), Los Pollos Hermanos Chicken (Popeyes/KFC Chicken), Veneria's Pizzera Pizza (Domino's), Funguns and even Hank's Beer "Schradarbau" (Blue Moon Beer). There are a few dishes we left out like Breaksfast Eggs and Bacon, Tuco Burritos and Krazy 8 PB&J sandwiches. but the amount of food we had already was a lot haha.
After watching the last episode, I am very satisfied on how it ended, but knowing that its over ... leaves me saddened. I don't think any show can top Breaking Bad at the moment and I am not being biased either. I know some might say The Wire is up there (which I haven't watched but planning to), but Breaking Bad was beautifully crafted in any way possible. I hope to see Breaking Bad replaying on TV for a couple of years because it deserves it and much more.
Thanks Vince Gilligan for creating mine and many other's favorite TV show! I enjoyed the journey and can't wait to see what happens now with the writers/cast.
