Today, The Crew (Rowel, Sicat, J, Nikka and Steven) and I set off to explore and enjoy the wonders of LA for Memorial Weekend. Its been a while since the last time I've been to LA and I was glad I was able to share this experience with a group of awesome people. We rented out a never used and very spacious van for the trip (thanks to Nikka) which was really good on gas. Even though we only stopped for gas once, the whole entire drive took us about 8+ hours due to traffic/accidents on the road. But being in a van with 5 other people made the drive seem shorter for some reason. I guess it was the non-stop laughter and singing that made the drive bearable and fun. We made a pit stop in Glendale where we ate at this place called Eden's Burger Bar. They had a lot of unique and various types of meats people can consume which you wouldn't normally find at an ordinary burger joint. I ordered the Wild Boar Burger and I have to say that the texture and taste was something I haven't experienced before and it turned out to be really delicious. After dinner, we went to check out the LACMA lights which is known to be a recent talk of "places to visit in LA". We finally made it to our hotel around midnight and just as we were getting ready for bed, the hotel tells us we have been upgraded to a suite! It was finally time get some sleep and prepare for the next day ahead of us where we would spend the entire day at Disneyland.
